Emily Driscoll is a singer/songwriter from Milton Keynes. She studied a BSc in Music Technology and is often found recording and producing material for other bands and artists. Although primarily a guitarist, Emily also devotes a large amount of her time to drumming for indie band Goodbye Empire. Emily's singing style has been likened to that of Dido, KT Tunstall and Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries). She is currently working on her debut solo album 'Victim of Gravity' due to be released summer 2010. New tracks to be uploaded soon!
The Midsummer Fayre

Emily will be perfoming at 'The Midsummer Fayre' at Campbell park on the 12th and 13th of June. It promises to be a great day out for those who enjoy festivals, theatre, circus and funfairs!

The event feature Victorian fun fair rides, children's circus, and magic theatre. There will be a host of interesting entertainments with 3 music stages including the Hootin Tootin Rock 'n' Roll circus, the Blues Grass stage and the Folk stages, all with their own friendly style, real ale bars. Other attractions will include the wall of fear motor cycle stunt, a traditional part of travelling funfairs back in the golden ages.
Emily will be performing on the MK Live Acoustic Stage at 19:00. She will be playing a mixture of new and old material in preparation for the release of her debut solo album - vitctim of gravity - later in the year.
